At Spin, we work in the exciting Micro-Mobility industry. My team, Operations Productivity, is focused on creating software to empower those behind the scenes at Spin to place scooters at the optimal place, time, and condition in order to help the world move around.

At Gravity, I filled a critical role that served the collective Product and Engineering organization. Shortly after joining, I was able to turn around a stalled project with uncertain direction into the fastest adopted payment API variety that Gravity has released. Most importantly, I established a process with trust to estimate, forecast, and deliver by respecting a cone of uncertainty.

I am responsible for managing our engineering team comprised of developers in Poland and the Philippines. We primarily work on website building tools, real estate data pipelines, and connective microservices. I relocated to Boston to be closer to the management team in 2018, and we've since transformed into a fully remote organization in 2020.

As a Lead Engineer, I was fortunate enough to lead in the transformation of a monolithic Ruby system towards a Serverless architecture on AWS. Our team has adopted Terraform for infrastructure automation, Codeship and Docker for continuous integration, and Node.js microservices with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and Kinesis Firehose. Thankfully, our code is utilizing functional & reactive programming principles, excellent unit testing, solid design patterns, and modern TypeScript tooling.

At Relativity I worked with a team of DevOps focused Software Engineers to bring cloud-ready automation and process to the greater SDLC using a variety of technologies, including those by the beloved Hashicorp.
