Education And Training Manager - Metro Water Services
CurrentProvide leadership and technical expertise for a cross-functional team focused on the improvement, streamlining, and optimization of Metro Water Services’ current onboarding process. Conduct classroom instruction for new hires during the onboarding process to meet Metro-Wide and internal organizational mandatory course initiatives. Aid senior leadership by providing coaching and mentoring to employees at all levels and across multiple topics – including professional development, performance development, career advancement, and progressive discipline. Administer Metro Water Services’ Employee Education Reimbursement Program, providing employees with financial support, academic direction, and professional guidance for employees pursuing higher education. Provide performance feedback, including regular and annual evaluations, as well as serve as a panelist on interviews, investigations, and disciplinary hearings. Conduct regular program audits and needs analyses in partnership with senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with MWS’ Strategic Plan and meet with all regulatory standards and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including employees, subject matter experts, members of our Finance team, and senior leadership, along with external vendors to identify opportunities to meet learning and development best practices, necessary and available resources, and training needs to develop or provide learning opportunities. Track organizational and divisional training initiatives and generate completion/compliance reports utilizing HRIS systems, including R12, Oracle Learning Cloud, and Peoplesoft.
