About Michaela Wuycheck Boardman

Now Director of Investee Relations at Social Venture Partners Arizona, I have worked in the nonprofit sector for several action-packed years. I manage the operations and programming of SVPAZ, a nonprofit organization working in venture philanthropy. As many who work in nonprofit know, you wear many hats. I started at this organization as the only full-time staff member, and have since grown from Manager to Director, hired support staff, and have accomplished all of our 5 year goals in half of the time. A recent graduate of Northern Arizona University's Honors College, I hold a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship. Throughout my academic studies, I helped develop and form the Northern Arizona Nonprofit Center, and was the first student to graduate from the nonprofit program. I also worked for the Northern Arizona University Marketing Department, and created and implemented a marketing program for Quality Connections Inc. In addition, I worked in marketing and public relations for Kahala Brands in Scottsdale.I don't believe there is a task or project too difficult: through my love of learning and passion for business, I am a go-getter and goal setter!I am technically proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and Workfront; a project management software. My top CliftonStrengths are Empathy; Developer; Input; Individualization; and Discipline. This supports the fact that making my peers feel supported, encouraged, and empowered motivates me daily. In keeping with my personal and professional motto: I do everything with great love.
