I lead the Growth Marketing and digital channel teams at Hootsuite. I’m also responsible for the overarching, cross-functional Growth strategy and accountable for the company’s self serve revenue goals. It’s my job to align Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams behind a product-led growth strategy to meet self-serve targets and drive pipeline for sales teams. The Growth teams get it done by constantly testing and optimizing our inbound acquisition funnel, making it easy for users to discover, try, and experience the value of Hootsuite. I believe growth and marketing—and growth marketing—are equal parts art and science. Data analysis uncovers opportunities and informs hypotheses, and creative thinking + innovation drive novel solutions to customer problems. Experimentation is, of course, how we validate what to build/create and deliver to market.
