About Michael Azuma

We faced another grueling day of coursework, research and trying different experiments. My team was weary after trying to throw anything at the wall to see if something would stick. How could I turn this trajectory around? So, one late night into the early morning, I spent hours re-defining the project scope, detailing potential new strategies, outlining a timeline to meet our objectives and put us back on track, and putting risk mitigation plans in place. I unveiled a new strategy that morning to the group, uplifting their spirits and giving them a renewed and much needed sense of hope. Never did I FEEL SO ALIVE!!! I didn’t really know what to call this new-found talent and passion I had just discovered, but it felt natural and significant! Deep down I knew I could offer so much more that went beyond the lab bench. As I entered the industry, I have demonstrated this talent time and time again, only to discover years later that I had, and developed, a knack for PROJECT MANAGEMENT. Since then, I’ve spent my career, both personally and professionally, inspiring and motivating others to pursue the unthinkable, instilling a sense of pride that comes with delivering unique solutions to tackle tough, complex challenges. Through strategic execution, empowering innovative ideas and problem solving / removing barriers, I guide, help and lead colleagues to not only arrive at the finish line on projects, but to help them see what's possible!M.S Chemistry with 5+ years of Research & Development, 3+ years of Project Management

Listed skills include Nmr, Mass Spectrometry, Tga, Tlc, and 38 others.
