After leaving the Farm in Nebraska, I began my career in Denver Colorado. Attending the Colorado Institute of Art in Interior Design, while supporting my way through College selling for a local manufacturer! After graduating, a marriage and a move to Dallas Texas, I used my design training and my natural born gift of selling, to market to a premium clientele of the Dallas Elite.This experience rewarded me a Regional Sales Manager Position in the Wholesale Interior Design Industry, representing the Countries top Design Manufacturers. In 2000, proudly with my partner, I took the leap of self-employment, designing and merchandising our DORIAN BAHR, 15000 sq. ft To-the-Trade Designer Showroom at the Dallas Design Center. Soon to follow with a second location in the Houston Decorative Center.Selling, managing and designing a National Furniture and Textile Line with great success, we chose to sell the Showroom Division to a private individual in 2011. My partner and I continued to expand our National Textile line, invest in real estate and reinvest our talents in DORIAN BAHR Design Build in Dallas/Richardson, with great passion and enthusiasm!Dorian Bahr Company is also proud of our philanthropy with numerous non-profit organizations, giving our time and financial support.My Motto "Stop Learning - Stop Giving - Stop Living"
