Worked as a contractor on a part-time basis. I am helping implement an enhancement to both a credit card validation web application and internal customer web portal. The business need is to make the internal system PCI compliant, address any other desired enhancements, and cross train on any newly developed sections of code. Also serving as technical advisor on current change requests as well as discussing future system changes. Recently created a new CMS for managing the catalog inventory directly via the web, helping bypass the need for a nightly SSIS job. This allowed the catalog information changes to be displayed directly to the customer and avoided a 24 hour delay in data updates. On a part-time basis I provide desktop support to the John Overman, DDS, MSD dental office. Over a period of time and as needed I have replaced and upgraded all office computers. Recently I had to replace the office server. Familiarity with Patterson Eaglesoft, its client and server options including its database backup process and software upgrades. As needed, I assist with all aspects of technology as it relates to this office including setting up wireless network, setting up network printers and shared network drives, etc.
