Working with The Hideout community’s water and sewer authority, perform inspections for compliance with design specifications for a $45 million project converting part of their water and sewer system.• Regulate quality of materials and workmanship, inspect delivery of materials tickets, record “as built” information, and review engineering plans for compliance with codes, regulations, and standards.• Contributes to the engineering department to determine standard changes as required for unforeseen issues during the design phase of the project.• Prepare memos, progress reports, daily work logs, and daily reports for two crews; pertaining to the work completion by the construction crew and calculation of materials consumed. This information determines the monthly compensation yielded to the construction company.

I assisted the design engineering department by updating drawings in AutoCAD, helping assemble and test trial metal rolling door units, and designing small parts.

In a diverse engineering environment, I worked to aid the manufacturing department in issues with assembly processes and assisted with the design and manufacturing of a prototype ballistic helmet that was to be using new materials. I also helped to lead an engineering team that consisted of me, a manufacturing engineer and a test engineer.
