I worked as a project engineer for Flint Hills Resources Biofuels and Ingredients in Arthur Iowa. As the plant Project Engineer I primarily managed capital and expense plant improvement projects. I was fully responsible for the success of projects, from the initial planning phase to construction and commissioning. In my time as a project manager I successfully oversaw over $2.5M in total project costs. I also participated in a 24/7 on call rotation and assisted with day to day plant operations projects.

I was part of the design/launch team for the Polaris Slingshot motorcycle. In this role I was able to pursue various troubleshooting efforts - many of them being self-initiated. Part of these troubleshooting efforts included prototyping as well as enacting solutions to issues.I was also heavily involved with the testing of component variation. This data was critical as it related to federal licensing regulations that could stall the launch and sales of the new product.
