The platform elevated our fitness professionals into something akin to regional celebrities, attracting new media interests and paving the way for the launch of regularly scheduled community-oriented events. Coordinated and appeared in several high-octane adverts that were played online and displayed throughout the district’s corporate locations.

Midway through my 3rd semester at University I "broke my back" during an overly-ambitious strength training program and was forced to put that expensive unnecessary path towards accreditation on hold until I redeveloped my gait. I subsequently spent 6mo teaching myself corrective exercise, another 6mo on performance enhancement, and subsequently dedicated another 12mo passing that knowledge onto others prior to returning to university.Through obsessive study & (in hindsight) an incredibly effective guerrilla marketing campaign, I went from being immobile to top of my athletic game, obtaining NSCA, NASM, ACE, & ISSA certifications, and quickly elevated to one TSI's Master Mentor Trainers. As a then single 20yo, that Master Trainer shirt was a blessing :)Note: I did not work continuously during the above dates. Rather, the above date range represents the roughly 4 year time period of which I worked in the fitness industry for several.
