Working with the client to ensure that content and creative served their needs and drove in-store sales, I ran the editorial operations of the magazine and accompanying website for the first year of operation. That included setting editorial lineups, assigning and editing articles, overseeing the edit budget, coordinating the copyedit and production process, collaborating with the advertising team, and laying the foundation for a successful continuation of the product upon my departure. Of note, we were profitable from the very first issue.
