Leading OroCommerce product & engineering.OroCommerce is an open-source B2B commerce platform, that is designed to easily integrate with ERP, CRM, order management and product information management (PIM) tools. It allows for streamlined Business to Business operations and provides a better customer experience. OroCommerce is built with flexibility in mind and can be customized and extended to fit any B2B commerce and ecommerce application needs.

I led the Magento Core Technology team and was responsible for the Magento 1.x Enterprise and Community releases (major focus on performance, scalability, and merchant experience improvements), as well as core application framework improvements, performance, scalability and web-design development in Magento 2.

Led the global Magento product development team. Supplemented X.Commerce global expansion strategy with a multitude of Magento local products for international markets. Led Magento 2 (successor to existing Magento Commerce platform) development.

Joined a development team remotely designing and developing web stores on the osCommerce platform for Varien, a California-based ecommerce startup. Intelligence, creativity and hard work of the remote team made it the Varien's key development force and resulted in opening an office in Kyiv. The whole development process took place here from receiving project requirements to the testing and release stages.In 2007 managed the team which created an original ecommerce platform, Magento Commerce, from its early stages. Was responsible for the first open beta in August 2007 through the series of subsequent releases until the successful launch of production version of Magento platform in March 2008. Magento overwhelming success turned a little IT company into the world’s leader in open source solutions for ecommerce, resulted in the company name change and also required development capacity increase.In 2008-2010 focused primarily on the engineering team capacity and capabilities expansion. Has grown the team from 15 to over 250 engineers (software development, quality assurance, product and project management, web-design, systems administration and technical customer support) in 4 locations in Ukraine. Was responsible for technical operations, process management and delivery, overseeing all new Magento product development – Magento Commerce Community (open-source), Professional and Enterprise (commercial) editions, Magento Connect (app store like service for 3-rd party developers to sell extensions and themes), Magento Mobile products. Created Magento Internal Training center to speed up new engineers onboarding.In 2011, after successful launch of Magento Go, a cloud-hosted Software-as-a-Service solution for SMB merchants, focused on Magento's “app store” (successor to Magento Connect with expanded reach over both deployed and cloud-hosted stores), Magento Platform-as-a-Service product and Magento web-service APIs.

Managed all aspects of development, integration, and performance of the Yakaboo's IT system. Focused on continuous improvement and development of existing IT infrastructure – ERP and fulfillment management system, web-store frontend, data-center hosting, call-center integration and networking. Led an in-house software development team responsible for ERP and web software development and integration.

Joined an early stage internet retail and delivery startup. Primary responsibilities included development and integration of complex real-time shopping cart software, ERP and fulfillment system, delivery planning software and call-center software integration. Managed both in-house software development team and 3-rd party vendor software integration.
