In addition to his systemwide role as Director Of Business Development, Michael serves as Director at the St. Marys Family Health Center campus, forming a part of Community HealthCare System, a first-class, nonprofit health care system with a longstanding tradition of providing compassionate, high-quality care to the rural communities of northeast Kansas.As a member of the CHCS Leadership Team, Michael has served on numerous committees including Strategic Planning and Development, Budget Development, Marketing and Community Relations, Quality/Performance Improvement, Corporate Compliance, Risk Management, Safety and Patient Financial Services.

As Executive Director of the Silicon Valley Conservation Council, Michael guided this landmark conservation group, unique in its Board of Director composition of business and environmental interests, in the creation of the Council’s Strategic Plan, budget and accounting system, and strategic marketing plan. As the chief spokesperson for the Council, Michael interacted daily with elected and agency officials, corporate executives, community groups and the media. The Council fosters collaboration between government, business, educational institutions, and community leaders to leverage resources and relationships across geographic and public/private sector boundaries and promotes continuous improvement of the business climate, while enhancing and respecting communities and the natural environment.

As President of Pinnacle Economics, Michael performed an array of real estate advisory services, including market and financial analysis, serving premier companies such as AT&T, Golden Bear Golf, IBM and Ogden Entertainment.Michael drives organizational strategy through identification, quantification, and prioritization of strategic imperatives and opportunities that are key to maintaining and growing market essentiality, ensuring successful strategic implementation across the enterprise. Respected as an advisor and team leader, Michael served as on-site project manager for Sprint Corporate Real Estate's nationwide data integrity verification at its four million square foot World Headquarters Campus in Overland Park, Kansas. There he oversaw a team of attorneys, CPA's, and seasoned real estate professionals in reviewing a complex portfolio of over 900 commercial, retail, publishing, and web hosting leases representing over $720 million dollars in annual rent roll.
