I’ve spent my whole career in sales and it has been very rewarding. I’ve always been a very charismatic individual and this characteristic of mine has been very useful in my career. My mother and her friends had always thought I would become a lawyer while I was growing up. Sorry mom, I chose a life in sales. In my career I’ve always focused on building relationships on trust and communication, two key elements in the sales cycle. Have you ever bought/purchased from someone that you didn’t trust? I’ve always said to myself, I’m not here to sell you, I’m here to assist you to buy. Sales is one of the easiest careers to get into, but one of the hardest to become successful in. You have to bring it day after day and month after month. Always stay hungry and always worry about where and when your next sale is coming from. This way you never become complacent and/or overconfident. Never compare yourself to anyone else, but yourself. You need to be better than you were yesterday. Be the hardest worker in the room and always remember, we always get a fresh start at the beginning of each month.
