I am a second-year software engineering student at Western. I am also a starting pitcher for the varsity baseball team, which requires a lot of time-management and discipline. One of my passions is game development, and I have already created several of these projects from scratch during my free time. Among the more notable projects include a 2D side-scroller with a built-in level maker that allows the user to create and play levels of their own design, a boardgame bot (chess/connect-4 ai) that utilizes the minimax algorithm, a Perlin-Noise flow field, and a maze generator/solver. Lastly, I am extremely interested in the field of business, as well as a pending Ivey HBA applicant. In this field of study, I received 1st place in the Ivey Business and Administration Feasibility Contest in my section. Outside from school, I have over five years of work experience at The Baseball Zone as an associate baseball coach, as well as a signed contract with the Performance Lab as a software-developer/fitness-trainer summer intern.
