I have 2 B.S. degrees (B.S. Individualized Degree in Math/Chemistry/Physics and B.S. Civil/Environmental Engineering) with an MBA and an M.S. in Finance. After graduation, I accepted a commission as an officer in the U.S. Marines and served 4+ years on active duty as a Combat Engineer officer stationed out of Camp Lejeune, NC. In Jan 2002, I was hired into the Junior Officer Leadership Program at General Electric in Schenectady, NY. I completed 3 rotations in the program and in 2003 was hired into a recent GE acquisition, Panametrics, located in Waltham, MA, after being involved in integration projects on the Manufacturing/Sourcing Integration Team. In 2006, I was hired into a Plant Manager/Director of Operations role at GE Sensing Telaire in Goleta, CA and in 2008 moved into a Global Sourcing Leader role in Billerica, MA. I continued as the Global Materials Manager for this organization from 2010 through 2012 before moving to another recent GE acquisition at GE Dresser Masoneilan in Avon, MA in August 2012. After closing this plant and relocating it to Jacksonville, FL in 2016 I continued with that business as a Center of Excellence Leader for their nuclear control valve product lines. After almost 16 years with GE, I took a new position as the Senior Director of Operations for the Field and Safety Instruments business at Thermo Fisher Scientific in November 2017 until October 2019.
