Prior to re-joining LogicSource, Michael was the Chief Procurement Officer at Novitex Enterprise Solutions. Novitex is a digital-first, document print and document management provider specializing in a cloud-enabled Integrated Document Life Cycle. In his role, Michael was responsible for the Global procurement organization and the Global supply chain, implementing company wide procurement best practices and significant process and organizational improvements.

Prior to joining Novitex, Michael was the Managing Director, Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain at LogicSource, an industry-leading procurement outsourcing firm that partners with Fortune 1000 companies to re-engineer their processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive sustainable and measurable savings. A member of the original team that secured funding by Bain Capital Ventures, he lead the strategic sourcing, supply chain management and savings delivery functions of the company. Michael lead the company's category expansion initiatives allowing the company to grow its original procurement outsourcing offering from print and related services, into retail operations procurement.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Michael was a Senior Executive with The Reader’s Digest Association since 2000 with full management responsibility for U.S., Canada and Latin American product, direct mail, music, magazine and entertainment operations; global premium and merchandise procurement; and fulfillment and inventory management. He has successfully led large scale global projects building strong culturally diverse teams and strategic partnerships to deliver measurable business results. His strengths are his understanding of the global market place and his knowledge in business process redesign and implementation to meet changing business needs. His ability to influence direction, drive change and gain consensus across large global business groups have enabled him to maximize savings potential across multiple countries, divisions and brands. These results have been achieved through his deep expertise in identifying emerging vendor opportunities in low cost manufacturing areas such as Asia, his strategic negotiating approach and his ability to build strong senior level global relationships.

Prior to joining Reader's Digest, Michael founded MB Productions LLC, providing product management outsourcing services to book publishers. Under his leadership MB Productions delivered major cost savings through innovative and creative business solutions in production management and outsourcing. At the same time, the Company developed multiple children's products for companies such as Simon & Schuster, Learning Curve, Sandvik Innovations (Denmark), and Five Mile Press, Ltd., (Australia)

In the early 90's as Director of Production and Product Development for Joshua Morris Publishing, Michael pioneered Asian manufacturing in China, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and initiated vendor sourcing in Vietnam playing a key role in a number of key product developments and product launches.
