Job responsibilities: ocean rescues, conducting proper radio transmissions, crowd control, responding to medical emergencies, surveying ocean conditions, and advising the public on safe swimming locations.

Worked as an intern at the Undergraduate Research Writing Conference, helping oversee the management and selection process of the conference. As an intern, I read countless research papers submitted by students who received an A grade in a select writing course. The process included reading submitted works, editing and rewriting, providing critical feedback and selecting the most outstanding projects. Another responsibility in this position included helping maintain a social media presence and promoting our conference by posting relevant information (due dates, location, and times). During the conference, interns were instructed to organize presentation rooms, distribute event pamphlets, operate presentation tech (projectors, laptops, google slides), and introduce guest speakers and student presenters.
