Aircraft Hardware Databus Emulator ----------------------------------------- Inspired by my previous work at ViaSat, conceived, designed, built, and implemented a python wrapped object oriented C++ program which leveraged the hardware API of an ARINC-429 databus emulator. - This application had the ability to spawn an independent process to manage a hardware databus attached to the system, this process could then be controlled via REST API (i.e. start, stop, set values).- Integrated this application into the Product Acceptance Testing pipeline for a complete automation.Networked Device Versioning Tool----------------------------------------- Designed, built, and implemented a python tool to retrieve version information from pre-production network components via a variety of automated methods including http endpoints and direct connection.- Integrated this tool into the Production Acceptance Testing pipeline to retrieve version information and report it in the form of a Jenkins artifact.

Developed and implemented a test automation system for a physical aircraft data bus emulator, where tests were previously done manually.This automation involved creating an API for the data bus in Python. Then implementing that API into Pipeline test scripts using the Robot framework. This system allows for general, simple, and quick use of the data bus emulator which is a valuable asset to multiple test engineering teams.I used python 2.5 and implemented everything using std lib methods and classes. It also involved set up and configuration of multiple devices used on aircraft for in flight WiFi.
