Data architecture was the initial focus, but quickly moved into more application, integration and infrastructure architecture.Key Contributions:-IT Lead on a 2007 key company project focused on providing major FI clients with a check order application to use in their branches and call centers. This project built upon the initial eCommerce and integration service architecture from the direct to consumer solutions. Led efforts in requirements definition, creation of system architecture, validation of use cases, design deliverables, and team lead for internet developers. Partnered with business and IT on business proposal and load testing / capacity planning. The team delivered 3 major functionality releases in less than 10 weeks. This solution provides approximately 6 million in revenue to Harland Clarke.-Member of core team responsible for evaluating and selecting an E-commerce framework to enable the business to consolidate multiple web based systems into a single solution. After package selection was complete, focused on delivering functional and non-functional requirements as well as architecture for the initial and subsequent release of the consumer facing product. The basis of this framework has grown to support 2 major lines of business within HC over the last 6 years.-IT Lead on one of three key company projects (in 2006) responsible for leading Clarke American in meeting its 5 year business plan. The solution enables the business to provide marketing services across multiple channels to the customers of financial institutions. This was a major transformation step for Clarke American to move from a primarily manufacturing focused organization to more of a service based organization.
