I am an expert in the valuation and resolution of sexual misconduct claims involving religious and non-profit entities, schools and for-profit institutions. I have settled and have been involved in the resolution of thousands of sexual abuse claims — as a valuation and resolution consultant, mediator, expert witness and coverage counsel. I am retained by religious and non-profit institutions, insurers and financing institutions to assess liability exposure, provide valuations of sexual abuse claims, and to achieve expedited, cost-effective and compassionate resolutions of sexual abuse claims to effect the greatest measure of healing. My approach is to seek truth, justice, healing and prevention of sexual abuse. Doing the right thing is good stewardship. I perform audits of personnel files and policies, procedures and protocols at institutions to identify and reduce sexual abuse risks and liability exposure. I provide consultancy services to develop comprehensive risk control infrastructures to prevent sexual abuse and to establish best practices in the handling of such claims.
