As a Nursing Supervisor I oversee a multitude of tasks to ensure that safe practices and patient care are continuously up to standard. My day to day responsibilities range from managing staff members, overseeing patient care, administrative tasks and monitoring adherence to established policies and procedures. This position requires an individual with strong self structure, flexibility and organizational capabilities. I am not only responsible of assigning staff and monitoring their activities but also allocate time to help recruit and train new personnel. In this role I also act as an interface between staff, their patients, and the patients' families, as well as between administrative staff and the hospital's physicians. I enjoy being a Nursing Supervisor and appreciate each opportunity I have to work with other staff members since I am always interested in learning the perspectives of others. I am a huge people person and am passionate about providing the best care, service and experience possible to our patients.

I was a home health nurse that worked alongside registered nurses and home support aids at Maris Grove community. I frequently made home health visits to people living in the community that required frequent care and health status evaluation. The care that was provided included; wound care, medication administration and teaching, activities of daily living, physical examinations, health screenings and more.
