My name is Michael Butson. I have just completed my 3D Design and Animation Bachelor at Billy Blue College of Design in Sydney. My primary skills are 3D modeling and using node-based programs such as Nuke, Substance Designer, Houdini, and Unreal Engine 4 Visual Scripting Blueprint. I first got into digital media when I did photography back in High School and more seriously when I did a short 12-week course for Digital Painting and Theory at CDW studios in 2014. In 2015 I completed a Certificate IV in IT through Upskilled and then went on to study a Diploma of Interactive Digital Media through Keystone College. Unfortunately, the college went into liquidation before I could complete the course. Despite this, I gained the skills required to build and design websites and user interfaces using code and graphic design, together with the basics of video editing and 3D modeling.In my spare time, I play strategy and city-building games, and work on personal projects that further push my skills, find new ways to solve problems, and expand my skillsets. Currently learning more in Houdini to create procedural models and effects
