As President and COO of Lone Meadow, my role was to expand the reach of sustainable products in major hospitality through the education of the hospitality marketplace, introduction of high quality, US-manufactured products with sustainable, earth-friendly materials and manufacturing practices. Lone Meadow was one of the very first adopters and partners of MindClick, the first organization mandating supply chain transparency and sustainability. In the span of 3 years, Lone Meadow became synonymous with sustainability in the hospitality manufacturing world, and was the leading advocate for the transformation of the industry to earth-friendly materials and practices. That influence continues today.As the sustainable dialogue gained traction, Lone Meadow evolved into a research & development organization, devoted to the discovery, creation and implementation of sustainable materials and processes in, not only hospitality furnishings manufacturing, but manufacturing industries worldwide.

As a key member of the strategic and executive leadership team at JL Furnishings for over 12 years, I oversaw the phenomenal growth of the company from a small sub-$5 million manufacturing company to a $52 million industry powerhouse that became the preferred supplier to brands such as Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, Host, Starwood Resorts and Four Seasons to name just a few. Parallel to these partnerships, I also oversaw the company’s market reach extend from regional areas to significant customers in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with new markets emerging in Asia.In this capacity I assumed the roles of Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer, as well as President of a JLF subsidiary, Lone Meadow LLC. Growth of this magnitude is only possible through the creation and execution of audacious goals, a clear and shared vision, expertly crafted strategic and operating plans and the acquisition of truly excellent people. With those components in place, I helped assemble a team that crafted and executed scalable financial, operations and technology plans, allowing the company to grow and expand, exponentially and commensurately, in conjunction with an aggressive and frenetic sales pipeline.My responsibilities included ownership of the financial and accounting teams and subsequent output, banking relationships, annual reviews with outside CPA partners and all operational accounting. Technology strategy and implementation were also my responsibility, and in that role, I created requirements, specifications and selected technology and ERP platforms and partners that were vital to the company’s long-term health and growth. In all of these roles, I set policies, created operating procedures, coordinated training and helped establish the corporate culture.
