In this position I serve as an Owners Representative and report directly to the project owners while managing their multimillion dollar projects with multidisciplinary teams from concept to opening day. My responsibilities include project team selection and management, creation of project scopes, master budgets, master schedules and the establishment of tight project controls including organizational structure, meeting and reporting protocol, and rigid task assignments in effort to deliver projects on schedule and on budget.In this capacity I am ultimately responsible for providing project owners with continuous project advice, facilitate the decision making process, provided weekly, bi-weekly and monthly project status reporting with regards to the project schedule, budget, overall team performance and quality. Featured Projects:Louisiana Motorplex Inc., $116M motorsports facility in Kentwood, Louisiana. The facility includes a 1.5 mile oval, drag strip, drag boat lagoon, medical facility, garages, grandstands, retail stores, and infrastructure.Buellton Land Development - $190M /350 unit residential sub-division. Conducted pre-acquisition land planning studies, market and feasibility analysis.Private Community Center - $26M facility located in Santa Ynez, CAComposed Request for Qualifications and Request for Proposals.

In this position I managed large scale residential subdivision development projects and project teamsconsisting of legal, civil, architectural, landscape, geotechnical, environmental and other necessary consultants and was ultimately responsible for all aspects of development from infrastructure to vertical construction including project relevant advice and guidance to executive management team with regards to design, constructability, scheduling, entitlements, permitting and other technical aspects of assigned projects, as well as, other projects within the company.As Project Manager I served as an owner’s representative, spokesperson, and single point of contact to the entire development team and regulatory authorities regarding project entitlements and associated development related technical matters. This responsibility extended all entitlement negotiations, public hearings and development agreements.

At this unique island destination resort location, I managed the company’s Real Estate Planning Department and was responsible for all operational matters within the department, as well as, providing leadership and technical expertise to the department on all land planning, land management and capital improvement projects for the parent company and subsidiaries from conception through completion. The company’s land holdings include two destination resort villages and spans over 4,400 acres of industrial, commercial, retail, residential and preserved open land.As a corporate officer and part of the executive management team, I regularly provided technical guidance to the executive management team and executive board on all land planning, architecture and real estate development related matters and providing monthly and annual reporting on all active capital improvement projects.In this position I managed and relied on in-house planning and architectural staff and more than forty outside consultant contracts ranging from civil & structural engineers, surveyors, geologists, hydrologists, appraisers, attorneys, interior designers, general contractors and other specialist as needed to serve as many as 124 active projects. I effectively managed my staff, consultants, workload and costs through the creation of a Master Schedule Program and a Five Year Forecasted Capital Improvement Budget with an anticipated value in excess of $250M of projects anticipated by the company and its subsidiaries.

Responsible for all pre-construction activities from initial client contact to project scoping, cost estimating, contract negotiation, preparation and scheduling of construction. I was also responsible for all architectural design, construction documents and agency permitting. Featured Projects:Work experience included multitude of commercial, retail, and residential remodels, structural repairs, additions and new builds totalling approximately US$22M. Negotiated US$15M in earthquake claims on behalf of clients to secure work for company.
