I provide regulatory and administrative counsel for homeowners, developers, economic development organizations and real estate investors at all stages of property acquisition, land planning, zoning and redevelopment projects. I have experience working with a variety of administrative agencies, conducting extensive analysis and due diligence for land use, historic preservation and zoning ordinances.

As a land use associate in this D.C. based practice, I worked with real estate developers, non-profits, and individuals with their zoning, historic preservation, administrative appeals and property rights litigation needs. I practiced before the District's courts and administrative agencies and served as an advocate for clients by presenting their proposals to Advisory Neighborhood Commissions and community organizations.

As a student attorney, I helped individuals obtain green cards and DACA renewals in immigration proceedings, succeeded in child custody proceedings in Washington D.C. Superior Court, and tracked down post-judgment collections for indigent Washingtonians. In this role, I also honed skills in intake interviews, counseling clients, and developing litigation strategies.

Commercial Litigation Practice GroupDrafted research memoranda, reviewed and revised pleadings, attended court proceedings, and observed client conversations. Conducted research on issues relating to conflicts of law, attorney-client privilege, property titles, and vacation of easements.

As a law student, I worked in the Neighborhood and Victim Services Section of the Public Safety Division, working with the attorneys to protect victims of domestic violence, incapacitated adults who are being abused, and mentally ill adults who need emergency psychiatric care. In this role, I drafted complaints and motions for preliminary injunctions regarding nuisance properties to help abate drug, firearm, and prostitution-related nuisances in the District. I also wrote memoranda regarding several topics including wrongful evictions, proving causation in alleged criminal conspiracy, and which members of law enforcement are a part of the prosecutorial team.

Chambers of the Honorable Gladys Kessler. - Researched and wrote memoranda on legal issues including FOIA requests and federal agency regulations. - Drafted language for memorandum opinions and orders. Observed and assisted with preparations for trial.

- Recruited to manage the day-to-day operations of three client campaigns and assist with several others candidates running for local and state office in the 2014 Nevada Primary Election.- Worked with candidates for State Senate, State Assembly, Reno Mayor, and Reno City Council to develop campaign strategy and messaging techniques specific to each targeted district.

- Was solely responsible for the processing, mailing, distributing, and posting of all Commission Notices and Orders to maintain Commission compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes and Nevada Administrative Code.- Processed, mailed, emailed, and posted agenda meeting notices in compliance with the Nevada Open Meeting Law, prepared copies of agendas and sign-in sheets for hearing rooms, and transcribed agenda meeting minutes.- Ensured all Commission notices were published in appropriate newspapers, tracked affidavits of publication, and provided weekly notice reports to the Commission Fiscal division.
