Project ManagerWest Valley Nuclear Services Company Feb 2001 - Feb 2005• Project Manager on two successive Federal nuclear waste cleanup projects co-regulated by the US Department of Energy and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.• The first was a 3 year long, $70 M design-build subcontract for a radioactive solid waste size reduction and repackaging facility to reduce waste volumes and prepare materials for shipment to safe storage. Resolved contractor delay claims for 70% of the initial requests for equitable adjustment.• The second project was a 17 month, $35 M project to dismantle radioactive and contaminated vitrification equipment mounted in a concrete-shielded cell in preparation for shipment per US Department of Transportation requirements. Crews worked 3 shifts around the clock. Work completed early and well under budget.• Fully accountable for all aspects of design, demolition, construction, on-line modifications, and turnover on both projects.
