I worked production for 10 years at FoMoCo. During that time I was assigned to five different factories and my duties included everything from line assembly, welding, metal repair, painting, paint repair, general repair and quality control. I was also elected to the position of team leader at four of those plants. As team leader I would oversee a group of 8-25 team members. My position required me to have complete knowlege of every job in my zone including: how to, parts (name, numbers, locations, installation) assembly and repairs. I was also the liason between production, vendors, engineers and management and met with, and reported to all on a regular basis.I chose a voluntary seperation from the company after much debate and searched the job and franchise markets. AIM Mail Centers had everything I was looking for and allowed me an opportunity to stay near family and friends while owning a new business.
