I am deeply driven by the desire to innovate and create. From advanced vehicle designs to the intricacies of 3D printing, my dedication lies in devising next-generation solutions that offer genuine value to users.My academic foundation in Mechanical Engineering propelled me to lead a dynamic team at the University of Oklahoma, constructing race cars for global competitions. In 2003, I began a transformative journey with Honda R&D. I rose to the role of senior engineer and Interior Design Project Leader for the 2017 Acura NSX supercar. My tenure at Honda provided insights into decision analysis, design optimization, and manufacturing dynamics.Recognizing 3D printing's potential, I founded IC3D in 2012. Our mission: democratize high-quality 3D printing with affordable machines and materials. From my basement, I launched and sold nearly 100 3D printers in a year and established a commercial plastic extrusion operation with a couple of production lines. All this while holding a demanding R&D engineering role at Honda. My approach towards local manufacturing, leveraging global resources and community non-profits, received acclaim from various media outlets.Today, IC3D stands at the cutting edge of reimagining production through 3D printing. We're championing innovations that bring greater flexibility in design, faster production cycles, and significant cost savings. Collaborating with OEMs and Tier 1 partners, our focus is to offer solutions blending innovation with efficiency.In collaboration with the Department of Defense (DoD), IC3D is working on developing specialized materials and processes tailored for military applications. Aiding the warfighter and enhancing operational efficiency are our top priorities, all aimed at bolstering national Readiness.Although Ohio is my professional base, my experiences span the globe. Fluent in four languages, I've immersed myself in various cultural settings, including product design at Honda R&D in Japan.
