Vice President And Chief Information Officer
CurrentComprised of 17 departments, Marist Information Technology is dedicated to advancing Marist College’s leadership role in using technology to support teaching, learning and scholarship, and institutional effectiveness. Information Technology assists all Marist students, faculty, and staff with computer and network related issues, supports open source learning management systems, provides Marist identification cards, print production, and post office services for students, and hosts a variety of academic institutions on our “Academic Community Cloud.” A distinguishing feature of the Marist education is the manner in which students, faculty, and staff are granted access to advanced technologies to help promote a strong sense of community. This is further supported through the Marist/IBM joint study program. With a strong applied research culture and involving Marist students in daily operations as young paraprofessionals, students develop the skills required for enlightened, ethical, and productive lives in the global community for the 21st century.
