I firmly believe one of the most underrated things in business is caring, and letting people know you care. Caring helps; build team environments, fosters buy in, shows you are giving your best, improves sales and feedback, firmly establishes client relationships, and much more. With countless situations that come up in business by honestly caring, and letting others know you do, you will create better results every time. I believe the fact that I was twice voted for the “Team Player Award” at CEC from a department of over 100 individuals is an example of this shining through.I have a history of successfully implementing new processes and ideas in a business environment. If you do not try new things in business, and have a willingness to occasionally fail, you will eventually have a failing business. If I never tried new avenues of sales and approaches to advertising, I would not have been able to help improve our sales by 400% at KFB. People have said I have excellent communication skills; which I use to help develop relationships and express ideas. This is critical, both through expressing my own thoughts and ideas and being receptive to those of others. While I was part of the URC board of directors I think my communication skills were extremely helpful in working with the rest of the board and presenting our ideas and concepts to large groups of staff.When I am not on the job some of my interests are hiking, indoor rock climbing, and sports in general. I have hiked to the summit of Pen y Fan the highest peak in south Wales, and Humphreys Peak the highest point in Arizona. It would be nice if I could watch my sports teams all win their championships, but until then I will content myself with my rec soccer league trying to win ours.
