I have over 25 years’ experience in the energy, electric power, and mining industries and I specialize in building culture-focused, value-based, and high-growth businesses tailored to meet those industries’ top challenges. I have developed and built some of the industry’s most competitive energy intelligence businesses through strategic analysis, market analysis, data and information systems, and product and business development. I am especially focused on and passionate about solving the challenges in how we transition the energy/utility industry to a sustainable, lower carbon future. This includes changing how we generate power and use natural gas markets to transform utility retail operations and ultimately, the utility customer experience. This transition includes the analysis of renewable power assets including battery storage analysis and forecasting, understanding mobility and transportation, and the benchmarking and forecasting of outcomes. I have deep experience in building subscription-based products and delivery systems and developing SaaS solutions. My goal is helping this industry, and its professionals, make better decisions and achieve better outcomes. I do this through business development, competitive and strategic analysis, and application of innovative, collaborative, and human-centric leadership. This has allowed significant growth at my companies, and I have a strong background in building size, scale, revenues, and significant margins for businesses through the development of high-value teams.
