Mactec is a CNC and Robotics manufacturer based in Portarlington, Co Offaly, Ireland.Officially founded in 2019 but has been incorporated since 2015. Mactec was formed to provide professional-grade manufacturing equipment at a price point that makes them affordable to startups and non-commercial users. - Liaising with customers providing everything from initial concept drawings to large scale production runs and ensuring this information and the allocation of work is given to the appropriate departments.- Managing and directing the progress of multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are kept.- Responsible for the costing and Design of multiple engineering projects. - Designing products for manufacturability and helping customers understand the production process.- Liaising with purchasing, production and accounting departments.- Specifying and testing requested changes to products using ISO practises.

- Managing engineering projects from quotation stage to site acceptance testing (SAT). - Liaising with customers providing detailed quotations, initial concept drawing, design reviews and ensuring this information and the allocation of work is given to the appropriate departments.- Responsible for the costing and quotation of engineering projects.- Managing and directing the progress of multiple projects and ensuring deadlines are kept.- Working on the cutting edge of new technologies including system integration and robotic cells.- Proven ability in leading and guiding a team in high-demand situations.- Liaising with purchasing, electronic, production and system control departments.- Specifying and testing requested changes to products using ISO 9001 practises.- Ensuring that the strict standards of the medical device sector and CE certification are compliant.
