I believe that through travel, we all embark on our own Hero’s Journeys of exploration, discovery, learning, growth, and transformation – of ourselves, our local communities, our global ecosystem, and our planet. I have been recognized as a thought-leader in the travel industry by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, Skift, Vox.com, USAToday, and The Seattle Times among other publications, and am proud to be a Co-Founder of the Transformational Travel Council (2016) and Explorer X (2017).I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and my MBA and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degrees from Pepperdine University.
