Mike is a seasoned business leader with expertise in modern brand building, advertising communications and marketing strategy for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. Mike most recently served as Fallon’s Chairman and has been part of the Fallon story since 1984 after graduating from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism with a master’s degree in Advertising. The third CEO in Fallon’s history, Mike took over the executive leadership role of the company in 2011. As its CEO, Mike made it a top priority to continue the agency’s legacy of creative excellence and effectiveness as was championed by his friend and mentor, the late Pat Fallon, who founded the pioneering, Minneapolis-based creative shop in 1981. During his tenure at Fallon, Mike has played many different leadership roles, including: CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Account Management and General Manager. He’s also touched almost every piece of business that Fallon has ever had, including: Arby’s, H&R Block, Cadillac, Holiday Inn (IHG brands), Citi, Purina, Lee Jeans, Nikon and FedEx.
