Since 1993 I have designed and led land development projects nationally. I am an experienced industry leader in land acquisition and land development; sustainable design and construction; project, contract, and consultant management; public process, stakeholder engagement, and presentations; expert in land use and zoning codes; experienced with real estate development; construction administration, project permitting; urban ecology and water resource conservation; and environmental and natural resources planning; and professional staff management and team leadership.I currently am the Facilities Program Manager leading the design and construction of the majority of buildings in Denver’s Park System. I have a passion for landscape conservation, urban ecology, environmental restoration, and sustainable design, incorporating these passions into projects. Recent clients have included Colorado State University, Football Practice Field, Heritage Garden, and a Pedestrian Road Underpass; the State of Wyoming Department of Health, two medical campuses; Larimer County Behavioral Health Facility; the City of Thornton, a new community sports park; City of Loveland, Mountain Park; Mountain Recreation District, a sports complex renovation; Town of Frisco, Marina Master Plan - Phase 1 Construction Documents; and Denver Parks and Recreation - Planning, Design + Construction team, Design Standards Manual Update and five parks. I have extensive experience in project management, parks and recreation design, Zoning and Land Code laws, real estate development, property due-diligence, sustainable design and construction, owner’s representation, business operations, staff management, community activism, financial oversight, project and contract management, public presentations, and LEED certification of projects. I currently create urban designs and construction documents, cost estimating, project management for parks and recreation facilities, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, multi-family, university and secondary education facilities, and healthcare projects across the United States. My construction experience is diverse and includes design-build and design-bid-build. I have developed plans and managed residential subdivisions, multi-family housing, commercial and retail projects, and site development.
