New Geographies is a journal of design, agency, and territory founded, edited, and produced by doctoral candidates at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. New Geographies presents the geographic as a design paradigm that links physical, representational, and political attributes of space and articulates a synthetic scalar practice.As co-editor of New Geographies 10: Fallow, I helped bring together a diverse set of voices to explore the topic of "fallow" as a metaphor to examine the critical junction between cycles of devaluing and revaluing built and unbuilt environments. Rather than assume a strict binary of fecund or barren, Fallow critically reflects on the sites, strategies, scales, and imaginaries of the devalued, the dormant, and the wasted, and explores revalorization in all its forms: cultural, ecological, economic, and social. This role included applying for grants, editing texts from scholars, developing graphic design concepts, and coordinating production of the publication.Beyond NG10, I was part of an editorial board that solicited funds from GSD leadership, sought proposals for future editions, and provided feedback to guide the development of proposed topics.

As an Adjunct Professor at Roger Williams University, I taught first-year design studios that focused on the critical development of design principles and visual communication. These courses tasked students with developing their first attempt at synthesizing abstract thought, environmental conditions, formal analysis, and social constructs with tangible architectural forms. Beyond my time in the design studio with my sections, I led a series of lectures focusing on diagramming and architectural representation, which I delivered to all first-year students.

The Planning Commission for the City of Norwalk convenes monthly in public meetings to deliberate and vote on matters that regulates land use, and shape the physical, social, and economic development of the City.The role of Planning Commissioner in the City of Norwalk is an appointed position. As a Planning Commissioner, I was involved with administering the City's subdivision regulations, reviewing municipal improvements subject to CT general statutes, commenting of the City's Capital Budget projects, and commenting on the 10-year Plan of Conservation and Development.In 2012, I was presented with an award for outstanding service and devotion for my time on the Planning Commission.
