The Corrective Services Band has about 45 musicians where I play saxophone. We represent the department for ceremonial, community and formal events all across the state. Such events include ANZAC day, VP day, graduations and correctional facility openings, and Remembrance Day. We rehearse for 3 hours every week and perform music to suit every occasion from marching band music to jazz, classical and pop.
