I served as the point of contact for the Automated Messaging Handling System (AMHS). I authored Operating Instructions for 3,000 USSTRATCOM customers. I solved trouble reports from customers regarding hardware/software issues using Remedy. I was a technical resource for MIMEsweeper/Norton Corporate/Intrusion Protection System/Source fire. I managed the development of network security hardware and software upgrades. I provided training and developed policies adn standard operating procedures required for utilizing Automated Messaging Handling Systems (AMHS). In addition, I provided testing to AMHS. I attended the annual Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Conferences to research up and coming hardware/software technologies and presented my findings to senior officials. I evaluated and performed analysis of requirements for automated information support. In addition, I recommended method, procedures and coordinated corrective actions to optimize IT requirements. I conducted secure transmissions utilizing Secure Telephone Unit (STU-III) and Secure Terminal Equipment (STE). Additionally, I monitored for information technology procedures, misuse, and security irregularities. I also monitored Information Assurance Vulnerabilities (IAVA) for the command. I reviewed DoD, Air Force, Navy, Army, and USMC Instructions/Regulations while assigned away form home station to ensure user connectivity.
