Freelance Writing for Cardinal Health’s online and print catalogs

-Developed communications strategies and directed the implementation of communications plans and projects for Hospitex, Special Procedures, Thermal, Care Continuum and Dealer Management Group business units. Managed Production of 1500-page Hospitex catalog. -Additionally, managed CD-ROM catalog, the private label packaging program, newsletters and other publications.

-Managed SOURCE 2000 CD-ROM catalog, which contained 100,000 full product listings and 10,000 color photographs. Worked closely with the software company and Allegiance’s IT department to develop a CD that met both the customers’ and the Allegiance sales team’s needs. -Managed production of small catalogs (<500 pages), price books, newsletters, brochures and flyers and other promotional literature. Worked closely with clients to develop strategic direction and objectives for their publications. -Managed private label packaging program, including conversion of 5100 products from Baxter to Allegiance corporate identity. -Worked on the team developing Allegiance’s internal and external web home pages. Also assisted in development of an Internet version of Allegiance’s CD-ROM catalog.

-Managed editing, creative direction and production of up to 800 pages of newsletters, brochures and customer-specific catalogs per year. Worked closely with clients to develop and shape the best vehicles to meet their needs. Target audiences included customers, sales force, suppliers and general office employees. -Created quarterly ChromConnection newsletter which was mailed to 20,000 chromatographers nationwide. -Lead a team responsible for writing new copy and editing approximately one-third of the 1500-page Canadian market 1994-95 general catalog. -Wrote and edited stories and press releases for outside publications.
