As an accomplished physicist and AI architect, I am passionate about researching emerging technologies and creating innovative solutions. With nearly 15 years of experience in product R&D and scientific research roles, I have developed exceptional leadership and project management skills that were instilled into me from serving in the Marine Corps and running academic research programs. My expertise includes researching and reporting on emerging technologies, cloud computing, creating AI architecture, training AI models, and developing hybrid quantum AI models. I have earned a PhD in Nuclear and Particle Physics from Old Dominion University and I am also certified in Quantum Science, Networking and Communications from the University of Chicago as well as several certifications pertaining to Quantum Computing from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.Currently serving as an Emerging Technologies Architect at Travelers Insurance Company, where I collaborate with internal stakeholders to research various emerging technologies that have the potential for disruption within the insurance industry over the next 3-5 years.On my free time, I research quantum deep learning methods along with researching possible upcoming advantages/risks in security and Artificial Intelligence that accompanies Quantum Computing.Prior to my current position at Travelers Insurance Company; I served as a Postdoctoral Associate at Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH where my roles included Lead AI Scientist: designing custom object detectors for hardware malfunctions detection; Lead Data Scientist: simulating Monte-Carlo data (20TB) for use of particle interactions; Research Scientist: researching experimental measurement which was awarded 80 days of experimental running.As a former United States Marine who led over 50 Marines in maintaining AH-1W and UH-1N aircrafts, I am committed to excellence both professionally and personally by volunteerism.
