My responsibilities include working with the general service contractor, audio visual provider, convention center, caterer, hotel, photographer, and florist to ensure that each city-wide meeting with an attendance of 5000-10,000 people is a success. This includes organizing and leading meetings with vendors before, during, and after each event. I work closely with numerous internal contacts to ensure that their needs are met at each meeting. During pre-planning, I ensure that we are working within budget and at the conclusion of the meetings, I receive vendor invoices and allocate expenses accordingly.In addition to handling the logistics of two citywide meetings, I supervise a staff of two in yearly coordination of 2-3 meetings with approximate attendance of 1000 people and 8 conferences with attendance of 150-500 people. This includes training on ASM procedures and addressing necessary personnel issues.

I provide excellent service to events held at the Colorado Convention Center. I am responsible for communication between client contacts, their contracted service providers, and internal staff. This includes making sure that rooms setups meet client expectations, room temperatures are adequate, lighting, escalators, and doors are ready for clients, exhibitors, and attendees. I love my job!

I write contracts, conduct site tours, and communicate with clients and Visit Denver representatives. I sell the dream! I work primarily with associations from the DC area. I love my job!

I am responsible for acquiring and maintianing clients. Once I find a lead, I create a proposal and work with the client to make that proposal a contract! Then, I communicate with show managers and venue contacts to make sure everything is taken care of. After that, I complete all paperwork to make sure that everything needed for an event is taken care of. Once we are at show site, I supervise the set up and dismantle. Lastly, I create the final billing.
