Design, simulation, and test of high frequency antenna components. Simulation of complex RF systems. Experience in waveguide, microstrip, coplanar waveguide, antennas, arrays, filters, and a multitude of passive components. Experience designing RF transitions to active components (amplifiers, phase shifters). Worked as design lead on multiple successful projects. Expert using CST Microwave Studio, FEKO, and Matlab. Some experience with HFSS, Comsol. Expert in optimization of structures with a focus on manufacturability and design for high yield. Expert at testing and debugging RF components. Significant experience using network analyzers through 50 GHz.Ability to mentor other RF engineers in proper use of simulation software, meshing, optimization, and testing. Full time STEP Engineer working on fabrication of microfluidic devices in a clean room environment. Experience simulating complex microfluidic systems using Comsol Multiphysics and Matlab. Extensive experience designing and implementing clean room processes for fabrication of microfluidic devices on a glass substrate. Worked with teams of scientists and engineers to investigate difficult scientific problems. This work was concurrent with obtaining my Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
