I was first involved real estate at my family's property management office while attending the University of Alabama on music scholarship. After college, I grew a sales brokerage and real estate investment company up to 77 properties focusing on student houses, multi-family and an additional specialized niche of historic homes. One of those historic homes purchased housed a little restaurant that I was able to grow into a fine dining landmark that won restaurant of the year for 7 out of 10 years straight, was named one of the best kept secrets in the south by Southern Living Magazine, featured in USA Today ​and received the Wine Spectator designation of "One of the Best Restaurants in America." ​     I moved to the Birmingham area in 2012. Then in 2014, with long time partner and now husband, Jerett New, purchased the Moody Mansion, a ca.1887 Victorian in Bessemer that holds title to being Jefferson County's largest 19th century home. We have documented the progress on Facebook and Instagram and accumulated more followers and friends for the pages than either of us had personally within just a few months. Now, my experience with the Moody Mansion restoration, business background and eye for the details at the restaurant, and the 100's of real estate interactions over the years, bring an approach of a true renaissance man that involves experience levels in knowledge and management of a team that is difficult to replicate. Early 2024 I joined the LGI team and dive into new construction real estate sales. I love the relationships that I’ve been able to build to help other realtors with their buyers and continue to love helping people attain home ownership in beautiful Birmingham, Alabama.
