About Michael Cope
I have been involved with the grading and paving industry since 1977 and I have been focused on providing technical training services to AGTEK earthwork software users since 1998. My construction experience includes ten years as a grading and paving estimator with contractors located in both California and Georgia. I also spent many years working directly for AGTEK in various capacities. In the late 1980s, I organized, owned and operated an independent AGTEK distributorship (GeoLogic Systems, Inc.) which provided sales, training and service for AGTEK's then complete line of software and grade control systems. My education includes a graduate degree in International Management and undergraduate degrees in Natural and Political Science.Specialties: Through my final business, Earthwork Software Services, I produced and conducted regularly-scheduled AGTEK earthwork software training classes for 20+ years (from coast-to-coast in the USA). After many years of traveling to do so, I retired from teaching my AGTEK classes in the fall of 2023. But I'm still editing and improving my AGTEK Seminar Handbooks, which are the detailed textbooks that I authored and provided to attendees of my AGTEK earthwork software seminar classes. AGTEK users can order the latest revised and expanded "2024 Post-Seminars" editions of my AGTEK technical handbooks at https://www.earthworksoftwareservices.com.
