Working with Executives in Action allowed me to give back to my community by sharing my leadership and management experience with DFW are non-profits. Executives in Action was founded to address a growing need in the nonprofit community for operational support and organizational development by matching skilled executives with area nonprofits.Dallas Police Department Reserve Battalion - I led a team of consultants in creating from scratch a nonprofit foundation to improve fundraising and visibility. Our team developed mission statement, bylaws, operational processes and routines; state/ federal required documentation; developed financial controls; database management systems; delivered a detailed and actionable fund raising plan; and made social media recommendations. Exodus Ministries - A non-profit that assists female ex-offenders who are re-entering society after incarceration with needed life skills. Worked with the Executive Director to develop a comprehensive set of business plans including Operations Manual, Financial Controls and HR Manual and assisted with Board Development and creation of a Marketing and Fundraising plan.
