I was the US West Coast representative, responsible to keep our customers happy. When founded we started out by selling charging stations to consumers. My activities were:* Set up international partnerships with resellers* Product management to translate customer desire to work packages for developers* Design and create online and offline marketing material* Design the installation manuals radically improving first-time-right installations* Continuously improve business processes* Give product training to partnersCohere has developed the Maxem Energy Manager. A small device installed in the meter cabinet that manages the power between the grid, solar panels, charging stations for electric cars and (in the near future) heat pumps. I was responsible for strategy and activities on marketing and communication of the Dutch Kiteboarding Association. I was team leader for the webcontent manager, web manager, event managers, internal journalist and graphic designers. I have set up several media partnerships and managed to strengthen our professional image and double our members to 3000.

I was part of a team in several projects focused on sustainable transport and renewable energy. My activities were:* Manage stakeholders in a 100+ million Euro project to connect 5 cities to a distributed heating system from the waste incineration plant. * Calculate business cases for stakeholders (municipalities, housing corporations and factories).* Develop a multi-year adoption strategy to connect the cities.* Manage stakeholders to provide a sustainable last-mile goods delivery solution for the city of Rotterdam.* Calculate business cases, set up partnership agreements and develop go-to-market strategies for a new joint-venture.Squarewise is a mid-sized strategy consultancy firm specialized in strategy & innovation and a passion for sustainability.

My day to day work consisted of:* Tracking trends in the financial and ICT market.* Researching the fears and greeds people in a certain niche felt. * Develop a program for a conference or training where people would pay $1000 per day for.* Manage the content with the speakers and/or trainers.* Collaborate with the marketing and operational departments to bring the event to market.

The Valorisation Centre is the bridge for new technology between university research and market implementation. My activities were:* Set up media partnerships with internal (university) and external media organizations.* Developed the new online front office for applications for grants, patens, and business development of new technology that is ready to get out of the lab.* Set up the marketing and communication function for my successor.
