Unitron specializes in the design and development of Solid-State Frequency Converters and Environmental Control Systems. As a full-service organization, Unitron performs all aspects of the design, production, sale and service of our products, providing single-source responsibility for our customers.Unitron’s product line includes Ground Power Units (GPUs) to support military, commercial and business aircraft, Stationary Converter Systems for use in industrial and facility applications, Frequency Converters for use onboard aircraft and in military shelters, and Rack Mountable and Bench Converters for operation in development laboratories and production test areas.Directly responsible for all procurement, manufacturing, shipping and support engineering activities in support of our customers needs.

Responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for Outbound and Inbound Operations in the Fulfillment Center. Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center. Drove creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable the functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan. Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of Inbound and Outbound operations. Set and clarified requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Measured performance, provided feedback, and held Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments. Leveraged the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area. Took proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network. Worked closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in the department, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives.

Held increasingly larger scope of responsibility with the last position having a specific focus on manufacturing operations, large system deployment, integrated logistics support, field engineering/maintenance and customer support. Managed over 150 personnel and controlled department budgets up to $2 million. Held overall responsibility for multiple programs’ operations, logistics and maintenance support totaling more than $200M. Directed the development of manufacturing strategies, deployment strategies, and maintenance and support strategies for several programs in the division. Provided expertise and critical thinking skills in the strategy development and review of multiple new business development activities and proposals. Provided cost, technical and resource allocation reports for Sr. Leadership. Provided and reviewed cost and technical data for proposals.

Held increasingly higher level positions within the company including Manufacturing Engineer, Production Supervisor, Senior Process Engineer and Lead Development Engineer.
