For the last 10+ years, I’ve taken the lead on IT services and built and led globally-distributed, high-performing teams to implement ERP, CRM, and WMS systems in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. I have expanded IT infrastructure and network capabilities to meet the needs of a growing company, transformed our development approach to agile, and oversaw multi-million dollar budgets. I have passionately lead innovation in the areas of emerging, competitive and differentiating technologies. I established a transformative digital strategy and roadmap for market operations and customer experiences. My experience focus is on the unique ability of building, developing, and leading high-performance teams while simultaneously reducing costs and creating efficiencies.Today, as Vice-President of Technology and Innovation for one of the largest supply chain solution and logistics providers in the world, I am privileged to work with the latest technology to continuously improve processes and drive bottom-line growth.In my current role, I have introduced advanced technology—in intelligent automation, data analytics, IoT, and more—and am tracking to meet target of saving millions in operational costs and accelerating the company’s growth. I am currently working to make business more sustainable: using the latest IoT and data analytics technologies, I slashed fuel costs by hundreds of thousands of dollars in just a few months, well on target to meet company goal for reducing carbon emissions.Leadership StyleI am a transparent leader who prioritizes communication and alignment. In my view, it’s not “Think. Do. Say.” as the saying normally goes, but instead “Think. SAY. Do.” A successful team needs to communicate and be on the same page as we work towards the common goal.As someone who finds learning fun, I champion learning and development for my teams as well. I regularly host hack-a-thons and I design stretch assignments for my team members to gain experience and expand their skillset.
