Michael heads Colemans' Private Client department, dealing with Wills, probate and administration of estates, creation, rectification and management of trustsInheritance Tax mitigation, asset protection, powers of attorney (including Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney), and Court of Protection applications and Deputyship work.Michael has particular expertise in the intelligent use of Wills and trusts for asset protection and Inheritance Tax mitigation. His work in these areas led to his admission in 1995 to the prestigious Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the multi-national and cross-professional grouping of the most experienced and highly-qualified people in this field. Michael also specialises in explaining complicated things as simply as possible, including Wills and trusts which people already have but no longer understand!Michael has been a solicitor since 1980.
